DeKalb Kiwanis Club goes 'Kii Bowling' with kids
KeySigns DVD Program
The KeySigns program was developed with a grant from the Kiwanis club of DeKalb to the Communications program of Northern Illinois University to help care givers and parents communicate with children who have delayed speech. The teaching of simple gestures during early childhood can aid in the development of speech and improve the general tone around the home and other learning situtions. The program is in DVD format and can be ordered by emailing the club at dekalbkiwanis@gmail.com. The listed price has been reduced to $25.00 for the first 100 copies due to a challenge grant. We will grant permission for redistribution among families or library lending, but restrict any duplication for any purpose.
